Ultra-luxury Hospitality Group Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to Launch Rosewood Amsterdam in The Netherlands

In a very positive move, CTF Amsterdam B.V. has selected Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to manage Rosewood Amsterdam. This ultra luxury hotel in Amsterdam will commence operations in the years 2023. As a matter of fact the Rosewood Amsterdam is Rosewood Hotels & Resorts' 11th luxury property in Europe and the very first in the Dutch country of Netherlands. It is definitely a measure of its growth of this luxury group in the recent years.
Being developed in what used to be the Palace of Justice; a heritage building that is steeped in amazing architecture, history. This particualr building has a lot of social importance in Netherlands due to the grand history that it carries. The location of this builidng where the Rosewood Amsterdam is coming up is also special with a grand view of Prinsengracht (the Prince’s Canal) that happens to be Amsterdam's most picturesque waterways. It is located in the UNESCO World Heritage listed Amsterdam Canal District.
This luxury hotel in Amsterdam also is in proximity to some of the most attractive places in Amsterdam including the museum district, the luxury shopping district on P.C. Hoofstraat and the suave De Pijp area. Of course with such an enviable location, smart designed ambience and well thought of hospitality; this luxury property is bound to be one of the favourites for meetings, visitors, families, friends and for local community members.
It will be the group's eleventh property in Europe and is definitely a measure of its growth in the recent years.
More about the palace of justice
First built in1665 and then modified by Dutch architect Jan de Greef in in1836, the Palace of Justice was Amsterdam’s principal courthouse almost two centuries.
It remains the best example of Jan de Greef’s classic, multi-cultural style of design and architecture that was greatly inspired by his exposure to Paris and Rome.
Netherlands-headquartered Architecture Company, Kentie & Partners have been shortlisted to change this heritage building to an ultra- luxury hotel. This firm will collaborate with the Bureau Monumenten en Archeologie (BMA) and The City of Amsterdam to ensure that the invaluable heritage and the unique flavour of this historic building are well preserved.
The interior design for this mesmerising luxury hotel will be in the able hands of the well celebrated Dutch designer Piet Boon. His Amsterdam located Studio Piet Boon will be in charge of beautifying this iconic hospitality building further.
Studio Concrete from Amsterdam will be in charge of designing the main restaurant in this luxury hotel. David D’Almada of the London headquartered interior designing company Sagrada, will ensure that the bar in this luxury hotel will be an outstanding one with amazing colors, luxury finishes, everything adding to the grandeur of the canal views further.
