Wild Exuberance is a group of paintings from M. Narayan's Polo series. The Wild Exuberance Polo Series will be on view at a solo exhibition at Jahangir art gallery, M.G. Road, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400001, from February 8th to 14th, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will showcase a repertoire of his wild exuberance in presenting multifaceted art works in water colours, acrylic colours, and charcoal, among others, that are not only enriched with immense artistic sense and aesthetic beauty, but also with a serene yet volatile exuberance in the appropriate visual arts perspectives.
About M Narayan
M. Narayan (Narayanappa Muniyappa) was born in 1967 in the tiny town of Mittiganahalli in the state of Karnataka. He is a nationally and internationally renowned artist. He earned his B.F.A. from Bangalore's Ken School of Art and presently lives in Pune, Maharashtra, with his family.
He is a remarkable painter who uses the opulence of colour to create emotions, festivities, and pleasure. His paintings reflect a vibrant existence and are displayed over the world, including on renowned roads, in art galleries, and in luxury hotels.
M Narayan's Polo Series is one of his most cherished works, and it expresses his affection for horses. He has used charcoal and a variety of colours to create one-of-a-kind depictions of polo players and racing horses.
His life-like polo paintings truly bring you to the centre of a live polo match!! M Narayan illustrates the game's excitement and pace with such forceful expressionist strokes, opaque colour swabs, and rough charcoal lines that the viewer senses the energy and aura. Due to his excellent eye for colour and fine touch with arrangement, his paintings representing the royal sport of polo have been a major success.
