Women Inspiring Network & FICCI G20 EMPOWER Celebrate International Women's Day
Women Inspiring Network (WIN), in collaboration with FICCI G20 Empower, sponsored an influential event commemorating International Women's Day in March 2023 in New Delhi.
The event brought together a varied collection of women leaders, including entrepreneurs, legislators, and corporate executives, to share their experiences and thoughts on overcoming obstacles and attaining success. The event was a tremendous success, motivating women to follow their interests and strive for greatness via motivational panel discussions and a Global Mentoring Walk.
Stuti Jalan, the founder of Women Inspiring Network, gave the event's introductory address (WIN).
She said, "Today, I am really pleased to be in a room filled with tremendously bright women who choose to celebrate International Women's Day with the Women Inspiring Network, FICCI G20, and The Global Mentoring Walk. This is the time for vigilant action. The only measure of power is the magnitude of your beneficial effect on the world and on women. You are a part of something far greater than you can see."
The title of the first panel was "Mental Health and Wellbeing."
The session was conducted by Influencer Ms. Harpeet Suri. Ms. Taranjeet Kaur, Head Nutritionist and Program Manager of Metabolic Balance India, and Ms. Pragati Sureka, Author and Mental Health Coach, were among the panellists.
Ms. Sureka said, "One of the easiest ways to reduce stress is to meditate. It does not need to be a large practise, but it must be a leading practise. Second, every day, give yourself a self-love embrace. When you combine these two practises, your stress levels will decrease and your happiness will increase."
Ms. Kaur stated, "Good nutrition is important for both physical and mental wellness since our body needs a mix of micro and macro nutrients for both."
The title of the second panel was "Women Leadership: Making a Difference." Ms. Stuti Jalan moderated the discussion panel. Ms. Nidhi Modi, Entrepreneur, Mammlys, Ms. Payal Kanwar, Director General, Indo-French Chamber, Ms. Shailja Dutta, Stellar Search, Ms. Mallika Sadnani, Entrepreneur, The Mom Co., and Ms. Shivani Malik, Da Milano, comprised the panellists.
Ms. Malik stated, "Women still aren't treated seriously. It is often believed that they will only function briefly or won't last long. It is regrettable that we must exert so much more effort to be taken seriously and overcome this. We must increase the number of women in our businesses, empower them, and create a more inclusive work atmosphere."
Ms. Dutta said, "I believe it is every woman's duty to correct the crown on another woman's head, but sadly, we don't see this very frequently. Even a single woman empowering another woman may change the world."
The theme of the third and last panel discussion was "Design and Beauty for a Sustainable Future."
Ms. Pooja Singh moderated the discussion panel. Ms. Angelique, CEO of Obeetee, Naina Ruhail, Co-Founder of Vanity Wagon, Payal Jain, Designer, Akshara Dalal, JD Institute, and Nitya Bajaj, Fashion Designer, constituted the panellists.
Ms. Dalal opined "Sustainability should become a norm of life, not an option. A style of living in which sustainability is not a choice but an inherent characteristic. As Indians, our identity is organically durable."
Ms. Birla added, "Sustainability means recycling, reusing, and reliving for me."
Participants, including young students from JD Institute, got the chance to network with one another and get mentorship from the inspiring women leaders and panellists during the Global Mentoring Walk.
