With Balenciaga, Reliance Delivers Another Iconic Foreign Brand to India

Indian consumers may now enjoy the finest in international haute couture thanks to an arrangement between Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) and luxury label Balenciaga.
As the only partner in India for the introduction of Balenciaga's brand, Reliance Brands Ltd. (RBL) has a long-term franchise arrangement. This is RBL's second collaboration with Kering, the parent company of Balenciaga. RBL's cooperation with Valentino was immediately followed by this one.
Founded in 1917 by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga, the founding house of Balenciaga characterised contemporary couture with its numerous breakthroughs in shape and technique.. In her second year as creative director of Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia has continued to push the brand's vision forward with collections that now span menswear, womenswear, accessories, and works of art.
There is a lot of support for the company from the likes of Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Nicole Kidman and Naomi Campbell who walked the runway for the Balenciaga Couture show recently.
Only Balenciaga has embraced the chance for creative reinterpretation and reinvention quite so enthusiastically. In the fashion sector, they have already established a firm foothold thanks to their avant-garde and inventive ideas, aggressive use of the trademark, and a cult following. Reliance Brands Limited's MD, Darshan Mehta, says that now is the best moment to bring the brand to India since the Indian luxury client has grown and is utilising fashion as a creative expression of their identity.
With its smooth journey from the past to the present, Balenciaga has remained at the vanguard of modernity thanks to its extraordinary engagements with the ever-expanding digital sphere, material advancements, and today's societal obligations.
