Kimai will become the first lab-grown diamond brand to be offered on Net-a-Porter.
Kimai, which is worn by the Duchess of Sussex and the actress Emma Watson, manufactures high-quality jewellery with minimal affects on people and the environment using lab diamonds created with solar energy.
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and physically equivalent to mined diamonds, however, Kimai notes that mining a diamond disturbs 250 tonnes of dirt.
The jewellery business will publish its best-selling items, including diamond stud piercings, stacking rings, and necklaces, on Net-a-Porter on May 27. Prices vary from 195 and 1,675 pounds/255 and 1,995 dollars.
Kimai co-founder Jessica Warch issued the following comment on the addition of Net-a-Porter as a stockist: "Having the endorsement and mark of approval from a worldwide retailer and early adopter like Net-a-Porter demonstrates that the demand for lab-grown diamonds is on the rise.
"We are beyond delighted to be the first brand in this exciting new category, which gives us a significant boost to continue proving that traceability is the greatest luxury in fine jewellery."
Net-a-chief Porter's purchasing and merchandising officer, Lea Cranfield, said, "We are happy to debut Kimai, an Antwerp-based fine jewellery company, at Net-a-Porter. Jessica and Sidney have transformed their families' legacy in the fine jewellery business into a brand that is both contemporary and timeless. The delicate pieces are ideal for layering and will give timeless charm to every day jewellery collections."
Kimai diamonds are produced utilising cutting-edge technology that simulates natural growth circumstances in the laboratory. This results in diamonds that are similar chemically and physically to mined diamonds.
