World Famous Cherries From The Pacific Northwest USA Launched in India at SoHo House Juhu

Summer means a menu full of fresh fruits, and now is the time to garnish with a cherry. Large, mature, succulent, sweet, and most delectable cherries from the Pacific Northwest of the United States have arrived on the market.

The Northwest Cherry Growers (NWCG), a trade association based in the U.S. state of Washington, have launched a marketing campaign in India to introduce this summer's harvest of this delectable fruit to the health-conscious consumers of India.

The unveiling of these extraordinary cherries took place at the incredible Soho House in Juhu, among a group of pleasantly astonished individuals.

In Mumbai, Ms. Rhiannon Elms, Senior Agricultural Attaché, USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, US Consulate, initiated the Northwest Cherries campaign.

Ms. Elms, speaking at the event, stated,

"Food is an integral element of India-U.S. trade and our shared heritage. I am delighted that fresh-picked cherries from the Pacific Northwest are now available in India.I am certain that Indian consumers will adore the quality and flavour of these cherries, which are among the finest in the world."

The United States is one of the largest producers and exporters of delicious cherries in the globe. Director of International Operations for Northwest Cherry Growers (NWCG), Keith Hu, was present. He noted that the cherries from the Pacific Northwest of the United States are cultivated in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Montana, and that consumers around the world appreciate their delicious aroma, larger size, and superior quality. "I am thrilled to see Northwest cherries in India."

Attending the launch Pooja Makhija, an eminent nutritionist, holistic health consultant, and author, stated, "Cherries are a delectable and nutrient-dense powerhouse.

Antioxidants, fibre, and vitamins abound in these foods, making them not only delicious but also nourishing. Including these vibrant Northwest cherries in your diet is a delightful way to improve your health."

Mr. Sumit Saran, In-Country Marketing Representative of NWCG, commented on the India campaign for Northwest Cherries as follows:

"We foresee enormous potential for Northwest Cherries in India. These cherries are among the finest in the world due to their superior quality, flavour, taste, and dietary safety. In July and August, cherries from the Pacific Northwest of the United States will be available, perfectly complementing the Indian cherry season. We have devised a comprehensive retail and communication strategy to introduce this delectable fruit to discerning Indian consumers nationwide. These cherries will be sold by retail fruit vendors and e-commerce platforms,"Saran explained.

Chef Vicky Ratnani, a celebrity chef, was also present at this launch at the SOHO House, where she presented a healthful recipe incorporating Northwest Cherries. He emphasised their high quality and culinary value, bringing delight and originality to each dish.
