ZENITH Unveils Three Alluring New DEFY Skyline Boutique Editions in Cool Blue

The renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker ZENITH has introduced three exclusive editions of the DEFY Skyline timepiece as the summer heat intensifies. The DEFY Skyline Boutique Editions are available in both 41mm and 36mm variants with captivating Ice Blue dials.

In addition, ZENITH has introduced a comprehensive strap service on its online boutique, allowing customers to customise their timepieces with a variety of compatible straps. This thrilling development arrives just in time to accentuate the summer's vibrant colours.

The vibrant and calm Ice Blue tones of the DEFY Skyline Boutique Editions are reminiscent of azure vistas and crystal-clear waters. This distinctive new and exclusive colour is introduced for the first time by ZENITH in both the 41mm steel case original DEFY Skyline and its 36mm mid-size counterpart. The bezel of the 36mm version is available with or without diamonds. These boutique-exclusive editions emanate a sense of flair and vitality, making them the ideal summer accessory.

To provide consumers with an enhanced purchasing experience, ZENITH has added a new service to its online boutique. This service enables customers to browse and purchase a variety of compatible straps for their watches. Personalising a ZENITH timepiece has never been simpler, regardless of whether a consumer desires a different colour, size, or design of buckle. In September, this service will be extended to North America and Japan, allowing consumers worldwide to create their own distinctive wristwear statement.

The DEFY Skyline fuses the past and present of the DEFY collection by ZENITH. Its angular steel case and dodecagonal bezel are inspired by the first DEFY wristwatches, which were introduced in 1969. The DEFY Skyline Boutique Editions feature a breathtaking Ice Blue hue with an engraved pattern of four-pointed stars on a dial base patterned with sunrays. The profound blue colours of previous ZENITH Boutique Editions have been replaced by a contemporary metallic Ice Blue hue. Even the date gears are color-coordinated with the dial, demonstrating painstaking attention to detail.

Both the 41mm and 36mm DEFY Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Editions are equipped with ZENITH's outstanding autonomous manufacture movements. The 41mm model is propelled by the El Primero 3620 automatic high-frequency calibre and features a 1/10th of a second indicator operated directly by the 5Hz escapement. This movement features an approximate 60-hour power reserve and a stop-second mechanism for precise timesetting. 50-hour autonomy is provided by the Elite 670 automatic manufacture movement in the 36mm version. The star-shaped oscillating weights visible through the sapphire display backs of both movements demonstrate the brand's commitment to horological excellence.

The DEFY Skyline Boutique Editions feature a steel bracelet with a satin-brushed finish, chamfered and polished edges, and seamless integration with the angular case contours. In addition, an Ice Blue rubber strap adorned with a celestial sky pattern and a steel folding fastener are included. The inventive quick-strap-change mechanism of the DEFY case makes switching between the bracelet and the rubber strap an ease. This mechanism's secure rear buttons eliminate the need for instruments during strap replacement.
