New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business is one of the oldest business universities in the world. This prestigious school was established in 1900 under the NY based New York University with the name School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance but was renamed to the current name to honour the alumnus and benefactor Leonard N. Stern, in 1988. The school was founded by the alumnus of NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Charles Waldo Haskins  and is located in NYU’s Greenwich village campus. From a long time the school have been making it to the top ranks in several categories especially due to its excellence in developing students holistically : with industry and practical knowledge. Due to the vast history of excellence of the university, several students aspire to complete their MBA from this university. NYU Stern finally started the course in 2018, when several students got admitted to the course and were trained under the guidance of the experts. The faculty of the university insists that the course holistically is very demanding and only the best ones are able to handle the pressure and learn new things regularly. They also claim that they make sure to develop an environment in the school, through which everybody learns, help and collaborate with each other to grow. Further, their curricular includes teaching the practical knowledge of the business industry. This practical based curriculum was involved in the course to meet the growing needs and demands of the fashion industry, to employ a person with knowledge and skill to function in a real setup.

In 2019, the  University bagged the first position in Finance by Academic Ranking of World Universities.
