The company stands firm in the architect industry due to its modern and forward approach to creativity and design. In 2014, Jonathan Friedman, a licensed architect with spectacular skills and experience in the field, joined the team as a partner.
This architecture firm has been widely acclaimed for its jaw-dropping designs, some of which are even difficult to comprehend. Partisans have challenged cooperate system ever since their foundation by designing mind-boggling places including interior decors, restaurants, private residences, furniture, industrial pieces, offices etc. The founders of Partisans are well-educated in their field and they worked for a few cooperates before establishing their own studio. The founders complained about the restrictions they faced in other architect firms and hence to satiate their creative side, they collaborated and establishes a studio where there were no limitations.

Partisans have become the leading architecture studio in Toronto, Ontario, due to their outspoken and bold choices. Their firm is well known, and it is famous due to this, for defying logic and conventional theories of architecture in their studio in Canada to free themselves from any restrictions and restraints to design their magnificent pieces.

Partisans are well-knit team of around 50 people who design innovative pieces with modern and forwarded technology and design. Their awe-inspiring designs have up scaled the Canadian architecture to another higher level and have promoted architecture business further. Due to their commendable contribution to Canadian architecture, they have been honored by several prestigious awards including ‘Emerging Architectural Practice Awards by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’. They have also published two books – ‘Suburbabylonia’ and ‘Rise and Sprawl’, which analyze and criticize the fallacies created by the politicians in the metropolitan city like Toronto. The firm has not only been winning in the architectural field but also actively participates in civil activities and politics.
All of the projects by Partisans was a success but a few of them became sensational due to their unprecedented design. Toronto’s Bar Raval design is one of the most celebrated pieces by the Partisans due to its fluid like wooden designs. Gweilo floor lamps and The Fold House are another architectural projects by the Partisans in which they employed technologies which are not even tried at such a bigger scale by other architecture firms. Partisans believe in teamwork and do not restrict their designs due to any limitation.
