The always innovative French singer-songwriter spent the autumn 2020 season firmly on the front row, taking within the fantastic thing about collections like Miu Miu, Giambattista Valli, and Celine. While countless stars breeze into the town to enjoy a show or two, Soko approaches the experience differently. A Paris resident since the age of 16, returning home after months spent filming in Croatia meant reconnecting with loved ones, enjoying the most effective in vegan cuisine, and taking within the latest ethical designs. "Well, the primary stop is my brother's house! Fashion week could be a good excuse to return and see my friends and family," she shared during a mid-week break. 

Soko brought a way of pleasure to the week's front rows, switching from slicked-back hair and tailored suiting to require in Hedi Slimane's latest Celine collection, to anime-influenced glamour for Alessandro Dell'Acqua's final Rochas show.

"At Rochas, I had an oversized outfit that was all pink, and that I was like, "Okay, I'm visiting dress sort of a Manga goddess." And so, I had like hell hair and pink hair extensions and insane makeup," she says. 

Well, I like Bonpoint, but mostly I try and use hand me downs for Indigo because they grow out of things so fast! I just finished filming a movie in Croatia so we were gone for 2 months and after we came back everything in his closet was too small. I'm very responsive to overconsumption; I feel bad buying things that he'll only be ready to wear for some months. Thankfully, I've got plenty of friends who also are parents and have given us excellent stuff. Once we're done using the garments we provide it back to them and they're able to use them for his or her next baby. It's a stunning chain of lending that enables us to be more answerable to the world.

"It's important to celebrate, and that I use my platform to speak about it. This generation is such a lot more fluid, but there are still lots of conservative people out there. We're fortunate, the children that are growing up now aren't visiting need to question who they're, or who they require thus far. It's a decent thing to witness. [These days] I don't venture out much because I'm a mom and that I just want to be with my girlfriend and my baby, head to be nightly at 8:30, but we've got lots of queer, gay, and lesbian couples in our lives and feel so supported and tight., state Soko.

Last year seeing brands committing to not using animal fur was a large step. For me, as a vegan, that's huge. Already steps and actions are being taken by new brands and people that are around for years. Gucci committing to only using faux fur was a milestone. Especially Gucci has been extremely active in celebrating differences and supporting the proper movements.
