Stuart A. Weitzman was born in the year 1941 who now is an American shoe designer, entrepreneur as well as a founder of the shoe company named Stuart Weitzman. Weitzman has many celebrities as their customers. It has designed footwear for Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. These big names give Weitzman global recognition.    In the year 2014, Weitzman paid a world record $9.48 million for the British Guiana 1c magenta stamp. During May 2017, Stuart Weitzman Holdings, LLC, appointed Giovanni Morelli as their Creative Director and Weitzman stepped down from his position at Weitzman. Weitzman is a global brand which is known for its uniqueness and for providing one-of-a-kind products. Its "million dollar" shoes are worn by Oscar nominees at the Academy Awards, including a pair of platinum sandals adorned with 464 diamonds that actress Laura Harring wore to the 2002 ceremony.  At Oscars in the year 2007, Weitzman shoes were especially designed for and provided to Diablo Cody, who then subsequently declined to wear them after. Diablo Cody declined it by stating that she was not aware and not interested in the publicity attendant by wearing the shoes. Weitzman uses the exclusive material to make the designer shoes and this brings the luxury to the appearance and that's why the customer trusts the brand and believes that the brand will provide the best.  Weitzman uses materials which include cork, vinyl, Lucite, wallpaper, and 24-karat gold. His shoes are sold globally including the sale in over 70 countries across the world.  

The Weitzman label is taken as an icon by upcoming designers. Its gallant designs sometimes seem eccentric as well, but they are always high-class, classic, and exquisite and designed with utmost care and attention to fine detail.
