The Creative Director of the brand Temperley London, Alice Temperley grew up in Somerset where her parents' cider farm is and graduated from the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins. She established Temperley London with her then boyfriend Lars von Bennigsen in the year 2000. The brand made some magnificent changes in the fashion industry, brought some new style to the market and got recognition for it. By providing the best to the customers and giving excellent service, this brand became global and currently, it's known for its focus on luxurious fabrics and hand-finishes. Temperley hosted her first fashion show in Notting Hill, at London in the year 2003. Later, in the year 2005, Alice moved her fashion shows to New York where she showed until 2011. Only exception was the Spring Summer 2009 show which was held in London. The tenth anniversary show of the brand was held at the British Museum. For four consecutive seasons, from the year 2009 to 2011, Temperley presented her appeling collections via multimedia installations as this has more reach to the audience rather than traditional catwalk shows. In the year 2012, it was reported that Temperley London is producing 10 more collections across three lines of attires in which cruise and pre fall collections were included. A fourth line, Somerset by Alice Temperley was introduced as high-street collaboration in the year 2012.
