The label, Payal Khandwala was initiated out of a need to reintroduce the Indian fashion landscape  with a spirit that is distinctly traditional heritage as well as modern beliefs. 

The initial collection was both critically and commercially appreciated and ever since is celebrated amongst women across different cultures and ages.

Within a short span of six years, the label has since flourished organically from a home studio to three brand owned flagship stores in Mumbai and Bengaluru, and two shop-in-shops at the country's leading retailer in Delhi and Hyderabad. The brand also holds permanent looms across Benares and West Bengal that are dedicated to producing their signature hand-woven fabrics.

Their philosophy is to create comfortable and timeless clothing for the empowered and progressive women that are both fierce and ready to take charge with utmost grace and passion.
