Vasco Vieira was born in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa, in 1969. In 1994 after completing his degree in Architecture at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) he moved to Portugal where he soon after found himself working within the distinguished resort of Vale do Lobo within the Algarve.

After some years Vasco had been appointed as both Chief Architect and Construction Director of the Resort, a grip that he kept until eventually deciding to line up his practice. Vasco Vieira Arquitectos was founded in 2003 and Vasco was immediately rewarded for the quality of his architecture by being listed united of the best 10 architects internationally by the Homes Overseas Magazine in 2004. Since then Vasco Vieira Arquitectos has received sort of awards for his or her innovative designs.
