It breaks my heart to burst this bubble that most Italians can afford to buy their luxury brands; this is not entirely true. In Italy and France the cost is significantly less but it's not so less that one can afford it at ease. What research tells us is that, upper class can easily avail originals and brand new products at full retail price. But they’re way more than financially stable. Whereas the middle class families often have to wait till they can afford the products, clothes, shoes etc on seasonal sales and in certain fashion outlets and then comes the working class, it’s impossible to afford or even buy a shirt that costs $2,000. Even if they can afford I genuinely believe this is not exactly how they'll be willing to spend their hard earned precious money. So often they are mostly driven towards the counterfeited goods or as it is also known as the black market. Luxury fashion brands from Italy are some of the biggest ones in the world.

Well, not all Italians are able to afford the stylish and luxurious brands. In Italy and France, as these places are fashion capitals itself, the cost is significantly less here as compared to other places but it's not so less that one can afford it at ease. According to most of the research, upper class people can easily avail original brands and latest luxurious products at full retail price. But these groups of people are way more than financially stable. Whereas the middle class families at these places also often have to wait till they can afford any of the luxurious pieces including products, clothes, shoes etc. they can afford it on seasonal sales and in certain fashion outlets. Now you might have a thought that how much is the price that even the middle class people need to wait for sale. so, here, the luxurious brand t-shirt costs $2,000. So, Even if they can afford it, I genuinely believe that not every one of them will be willing to spend their hard earned precious money on clothes and luxurious products.

Its actually a misnomer, all Italians cannot afford to buy their luxury brands, only a small proportion of Italians can actually afford to buy high end Italian products. Would it not be great if all the luxury products could be afforded by the majority of the population in Italy!
